The National Hellenic Society (NHS) is a non-profit foundation dedicated to preserving, celebrating and passing on Hellenic heritage and culture to the next generation.

 

The NHS plays a significant role in connecting young Greek Americans with their heritage through NHS Programs including NHS signature Heritage Greece Program. Heritage Greece is a transformative educational and cultural immersion shared experience in Greece shared with students from the American College of Greece in Athens, American College of Thessaloniki, and College Year in Athens. This past summer, the NHS sponsored 130+ college students of Greek descent on this life-changing Program.

 

Through the support of this benefit Poker Tournament, the NHS looks to continue to grow the Heritage Greece Program next year!



As we celebrate the growth and success of the Heritage Greece Program, we cordially invite you to join us on Friday, October 25, 2024, at 6:30 p.m. at the Strathmore Vanderbilt Country Club in Manhasset, NY. This event provides an opportunity for us to come together and celebrate our collective commitment to preserving and passing on the rich Hellenic heritage to the next generation.

 

Heritage Greece has already profoundly impacted the lives of over 900 alumni, who describe it as a truly transformative experience. Together, we can make a meaningful difference and ensure that this program continues to shine as a beacon of Hellenic culture, education, and personal growth for generations to come.
